How To Use Tool or App (on Apple products)
Download the app, VoiceThread
Sign in with account information
Click on "Create" on the left of the bottom bar on the screen
Click the plus symbol (This creates a new VoiceThread)
Choose pictures that you want to be included in the VoiceThread, either from the photo library or take pictures with the camera (Recommendation: Already have all of the pictures to be included in the photo library)
Select the pictures to be included and click "Done"
The pictures will be displayed on the screen. At this point, you can...
Rearrange the order of the pictures
Edit information about the VoiceThread (title, description, tags)
Add more photos
Delete photos
Commenting:
Option one: Select "Comment" (This allows you to record your voice or video throughout the presentation to narrate the pictures. While recording, you can change slides at the pace you choose. When another is viewing your VoiceThread, they will hit play and your VoiceThread will play from start to finish.)
Option two: Select "Save". This will take you to the main page of this particular VoiceThread. To add individual comments on each slide, click play and then pause. This will stop the slideshow so that you can comment on each picture. Click the comment icon and choose between text, voice, or video commenting. Slide to the next picture and repeat this process until you have commented on each slide.) This is also the process of commenting on another's VoiceThread.
Click the "X" to exit the presentation mode.
You can share each VoiceThread through e-mail or a link.
